Business Hotel Nissei in Osaka - Hotel Review
Business Hotel Nissei is a 2-star hotel in Osaka that is just a short walk away from Dotonbori and either the Namba or Osaka station. It was our chosen place to stay during our first two nights in Osaka, Japan. Here in this blog post, I will be sharing with you our experience, and of course a preview of the hotel.
The Location
Business Hotel Nissei is found within the inner streets of Osaka, and this makes it slightly difficult to locate. It took us several attempts to find the place, and we needed a lot of asking around to eventually reach the hotel. After our first two days, we realized that the hotel's location is very much convenient as it is very near the famous Dotonbori Street as well as the train station.
You won't have a hard time looking for places to eat because there are plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel. However, I can't seem to remember if there is a nearby convenience store. Anyway, if in case you need something to drink, there is a vendo machine on the lobby of the hotel.
The Hotel
Business Hotel Nissei is very much straight-forward. The interior of the hotel has this simple and organized feel. There's nothing much really to be fascinated much about because as you enter, you'll only find the lobby. After that, you'll already find the elevator going to the rooms.
The Room
When we entered the room, I was surprised by how cramped the interior seemed. In my estimate, the entire room is probably at about 10-12 sq. meters only. Even the comfort room was surprisingly small. Nevertheless, despite all of these, I find the beds and the overall feel comfy. Also, considering the price range of other hotels, I found the price within reach and sufficiently sulit especially that there is a simple breakfast included.
Facilities were simple as well, You can find there an LED TV, a refrigerator and a water boiler. Take note that there are no complimentary bottled water, so you may need to buy beforehand.
There is supposedly a free Wi-Fi, but it's too weak to provide you any speed. I highly suggest that you rent a Wi-Fi instead.
As mentioned, the bath room is really small making it difficult to move around. However, once you get used to it, you'll not mind it anymore.
The Breakfast
Breakfast was included in the rates that we availed off, and to tell you the truth, I was very much looking forward to it. However, after seeing what's on the table, I was slightly disappointed.
The Tea Lounge Lark is where you can have your "breakfast buffet" and the interior was very much simple yet extremely homey.
As you can see in the photo below, the only food that you can find on the table are the bread (of varying types), hard boiled eggs, mashed potato, butter and jam, and drinks (orange juice, tea, coffee and water).
I was admittedly surprised by these, since I was expecting for something like rice meals (e.g. bacon and egg with rice). Still, I just felt thankful because I was forced to really eat healthy.
Anyway, here's a photo of me in the Tea Lounge with the simple yet healthy breakfast. Now to tell you the truth the breakfast made me crave for my usual breakfast favorites (which are not that healthy).

Through our experience staying here in Business Hotel Nissei, I'm providing this place a good recommendation. Admittedly, the room is very cramped as well as the comfort room, but since we were mostly out, we didn't mind that at all. Overall, I was completely satisfied.
Directions from Kansai airport: It's very much pretty straight forward. All you need to do is to take the train going to Namba station which cost approximately ¥920. From there you will walk about 8 minutes to reach Business Hotel Nissei. I suggest that you print a map as well as the specific direction by Google Maps. This will surely come in really handy.
