SGV's 70th Anniversary Party - FSRM Edition
Even if this has transpired more than a year ago, I decided to still post it here in the blog so that I’ll have a reference when the time calls for it. Again, the primary purpose of this blog is for me to preserve great memories. This is why I realized that I should post about this.
SGV’s 70th anniversary is a memorable one. It is the year that I got to be promoted as a Senior Associate. – tiny milestone for others perhaps, but a huge one for me. I’ve always wanted the opportunity to inspire and possibly influence others in a good way, in other words, an opportunity to lead.
It was also during this year when I get to meet new office mates who turned out to be awesome friends for keeps. Since anniversary parties are avenue to loosen up (supposedly in a refined manner), we took the opportunity to unleash creativity with our photo shoots. Besides, it’s only once in a while when we get to have the time to dress up.
As mentioned, we were supposed to be classy and refined, but it turned out, we were “classy jej”. I guess that’s one of the marks of being an FSRM member.
Now, here’s a photo of the ones who started it all. I can still remember our first adventure together solving a puzzle in Breakout. Ahh, great memories!
Oh, this year is also the year that started the k-drama fever in our cluster, which is why we came up with this “puso” hand gesture, and doing this “kuchinyim” and “depunyim” poses.
Also, props to this man who’s the life of the party. Always spreading good vibes and giggles in our table. Two words started it all – “wallet and ticket”. We had an incredible share of laughter from our knock knock jokes.
And to this girl on fire who became one of those whom I give huge amount of trust to, and vice versa (hopefully). Our memorable moments include joking about “matapobre” and “kapitbahay”.
It sure was a fantastic day to celebrate the kind of camaraderie we developed in the cluster. It’s like family.
Of course, RGB will forever be there, and we’ll always be the unbeatable trio.
Then also this year, came along two new ladies that became part of the team. So, I guess it’s true, work can be blessing in this respect. Probably in this alone (okay, I kid).
Scamming never ends with this man who forced me to delve in the world of FinTech, resulting to extra work in the office.
It was surely a great night reflecting the fantastic year we had. While some may have left the FSRM nest, we’ll always be Ohana.
