Pagudpud's Blue Lagoon Beach, Ilocos Norte
Blue Lagoon, or more broadly known as Pagudpud beach is one of Ilocos Norte's pride. It's a paradise with a breathtaking view of nature's grandeur!
Ilocos Norte's Boracay
Although it may be contestable, Pagudpud is often viewed as Ilocos Norte's very own Boracay. The sands are generally fine especially in the mid part of the shore. There are also simple restaurants found across the island, where you can have your fresh serving of seafood.
Activities to enjoy + longest zipline over water
Common beach activities such as volleyball and banana boat can be enjoyed here in Pagudpud beach. However, one of the things very unique to the island is the 1.7 km zipline over water. In fact, it's the longest zipline running over water in the entire world. It's the perfect place and time to unleash the daredevil in you!
A story to tell - second time in Blue Lagoon
The first time I was here was with my high school barkada back in 2015. It was only a day trip as we just wanted to see how it looked like. This 2017, I finally got to do an overnight stay in the island with my office mates.
Even from afar, Pagudpud beach seemed very inviting especially with the luscious blueness of the water. We took this group photo just before we indulged ourselves with the calming waves of the beach. We were supposed to ride the banana boat, but the price of P1,800 for 5 persons (i.e. P360 each) simply made us back out. Hence, we ended up enjoying the beach more by building civilizations out of sand.
Part of our night in Pagudpud was spent having a Mongolian buffet in Kapuluan Vista Resort, which is probably one of the best I had for a while. Afterwards, we went back to our transient home a few walk away from the shoreline of Blue Lagoon.
