Cable Car Journey to Ngong Ping, Hong Kong
Ngong Ping 360's Cable Car is one of the classic activities to enjoy when you visit Hong Kong. Nothing beats experiencing Hong Kong high up in the air as you "glide".
Getting the most of iVenture card
As mentioned in my earlier posts, we availed an iVenture card via Klook. This allowed us to try multiple activities in Hong Kong at a much affordable price. We bought the card at approximately P6,500 and the value is almost P10,000+ when you avail all the inclusions. Fortunately, Ngong Ping 360 is part of the package.
Going to Teung Cheung
Ngong Ping can be accessed via Teung Cheung, which you can reach by riding the MTR. The fare is a bit pricey at 21.7 HKD (or approx P145). From there you can take a brief walk going to the boarding area. Depending on the month of the year, the queue may call for a longer waiting time. In our case, given that it was September, it took us about 30 minutes..
The cable car journey
Our Disneyland experience the previous day took most of our energy, so everyone seemed to be running low when we visited Teung Cheung. However, we felt a sudden rush of energy upon setting foot on the cable car. We couldn't help but admire the view from the top.
Our energy was overflowing to a point where all of us got inspired to take more creative photos of ourselves.
Of course, we also took the opportunity to admire the beauty of the city. It was as if seeing Hong Kong for the first time once again, despite the fact that we already did via Sky100's Observation Deck (read more).
Now, let me share with you a couple of shots taken while traveling to Ngong Ping Village.
It took us approximately 22 minutes before reaching the end point.
Surprisingly, even if we knew that the energy we felt was just "borrowed", we got the most of it by exploring the rest of Ngong Ping Village. You can check out more about it through this post - Exploring Ngong Ping Village and the Big Buddha.
