Tourist Review - B Nagoya Hotel, Japan

The Hotel
The B Nagoya is beautifully tucked within Nagoya's business district, yet surprisingly the vibe surrounding it is reminiscent of a quiet residential neighborhood. It's magical how it feels both peaceful and busy at the same time. It's location is also very strategic and convenient for travels due to its proximity to go-to destinations and/or activities.
  • The train station is accessible within a 5-minute walk
  • The iconic Mirai Tower is visibly scene from a short radius
  • The Nagoya City Science Museum will take 10-15 minute walk across a scenic route
  • There are two (2) konbinis near Nagoya, both of which are just one block away from the hotel

I'm not sure whether it is customary for hotels in Nagoya to provide free snacks for its guests every afternoon, but B Nagoya Hotel does it. They offer donuts and other pastries every afternoon for its guests. This comes with a cup of UCC coffee as well.

I've been to a couple of hotels in other parts of Japan, but none of them had anything like this. Hence, I give The B Nagoya Hotel plus points for this!

Unfortunately, I was not able to snap a photo of their lobby, but they have couches for you to linger on as you wait for your other friends or family to assemble. They also have a rest room at the lobby.

The Room
The B Nagoya has selection when it comes to their rooms. However, there are two (2) typical rooms, among others, you may choose from if you are coming by pairs. The photo below is the one with a king-sized bed (14 m²). While the bed is definitely huge, there isn't much space to roam around. It is practically just the bed taking up most space of the room.

The other alternative is to avail the Superior Twin Room (18 m²). It comes with two single beds, and the room has ample space to walk around with, with extra 4m² compared with the earlier room.

Room Rates
We booked ours via Agoda, and we got a good rate because we booked it several months in advance. On average, we spent around P3,300 per room per night, and since there are two (2) people sharing the room, that translates to only about P1,650 per person per night. This rate is applicable for both the room with the king-sized bed or the double room. Also, this rate does not come with any breakfast.

I'm not sure whether it will be helpful for you, but we stayed there in November. Hotel prices may have seasonality depending on the what particular month you are trying to book.

The bathroom is considerably decent. It has a small tub, which you can creatively fit in still.

Overall, the B Nagoya Hotel is a great candidate for you to stay at whenever you plan to visit Nagoya. It has a good proximity to common tourist spots, and it's in the heart of the city's business district giving you access to shopping, scenic parks, museums and more!
